We have the same kitchen problem - had to get...LOL! We have the same kitchen problem - had to get a new range, which is leading to new countertops (very long story), which have to be something thick like granite or marble (another long story). Spent 5 hours last Wednesday wandering through granite warehouses in Seattle. There's actually a HUGE industrial section of Seattle filled with granite warehouses - I swear there's enough slabs over there to outfit every house on the west coast! And about eleventy-billion colors to choose from. Gaaaahhhhh.........<br /><br />Our ratty couch awaits reupholstery (someday).
